Sales Force Policy

’s highest priority is instilling trust in its brand. We therefore work hard to ensure that anyone selling products and services -- whether employees or authorized resellers and partners -- do so with an emphasis on transparency and ethics.

In particular, authorized partners and resellers selling products and services must agree not to:

Feel free, however, to use to find great local businesses, read reviews, request a quote for personal use, or even add videos or photos with non-editorial captions (e.g., “chocolate donuts”, not “greatest chocolate donuts”).
  2. Encourage others to post reviews or contribute any other editorial content to , even without any promise of compensation (e.g., don’t say “Review us on ” or “If you had a great experience, please review us on ”). The best reviews are organic; the rest are potentially biased. For more information on this topic, click .
  3. Encourage others to post, edit or remove reviews or contribute any other editorial content to or any other platform with an offer of compensation, incentives or discounts.
  4. Encourage others, on or any other platform, to only post positive reviews or discourage others from posting criticisms (i.e., no “review gating”).
  5. Send messages to or request quotes from clients, including “test” messages through .
  6. Vote on reviews (e.g., voting a review as “Helpful,” “Love this,” etc.).

  8. State or imply that they can “manage your reputation” or “remove your bad reviews” on , or make similar statements, including any suggestion that advertising on will lead to more reviews or better ratings, or conversely, that not advertising on could negatively affect ratings or reviews.
  9. State or imply that they represent , are working “on behalf of” , or are in any way employed by ; third parties must expressly identify themselves as employees or representatives of the company they work for.
  10. State or imply that they have an exclusive relationship with , or that they can provide -related products or services that itself cannot provide or that are not covered by an existing partnership contract with .
